Toubkal ascension 3 days 2 nights:

The Toubkal massif, rising to 4167 m, is the giant of all North Africa. Across Africa will tell you most sincerely Berbers, one of the most ancient peoples of mankind, a people so warm and welcoming. This ascension will introduce you a new geographical horizons, with its amazing landscapes.
Close to the mountain Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Imlil makes a good base for attempting to summit Toubkal. Imlil is the centre of mountain tourism in Morocco due to its unique position. From here, 90% of visitors head up to Toubkal, the highest mountain in Morocco. Imlil is the end of the tarmac road, and is a natural place to hire mountain guides and mules for the onward trek.
The Berbers formerly called the Adrar Toubkal Massif n’Dern, the “Mountain of Mountains”. It conceals treasures carved valleys of terraced crops, summits white with snow and the trails that lead to an ancestral pass to another, allowing us to cross the solid through and through.

Toubkal ascension 3 days/ 2 nights
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil (1700m) – Refuge (300m)
After an early breakfast we leave for 2-hour drive to the small village of Imlil. We meet our guides and mules, load up and set off for six hour trek to the small refuge below the summit. The tracks are quite steep and narrow in places. We continue climbing through remote mountains and over several passes before finally arriving at the refuge where we spend the night.

Day 2: Toubkal ascension (4167)
Climbing the highestpeak in the Maghreb isdonewithout major difficulties. Rocky path up near the camp in a landslide in avalley and thencollected more encumberedwith large blocks. The final peakisbroad and goes down graduallywhenapproaching to the summit, howeverhighcliffsplunginginto the opposite of the Ifni lake .Night at the Toubkal refuge.

Accommodation: Refuge
Day 3: Refuge – Armed (1900m) – Imlil – Marrakech
Today we descend back down to Imlil which will take us around five hours. On arriving in the village we will meet our transport and return to Marrakech.
The duration of walking is about 5 hours
Down: 1500 m
