You’ll depart Marrakech at 09:00 for the 60-kilometer drive to the Ourika Valley. The Ourika River is one of the few in the region that run throughout the year. As you drive along the river you’ll see small Berber villages of mud houses built on the slopes of the mountains.
Stop en route to experience the lifestyle of the local Berbers, and visit a women’s co-operative initiative to see how traditional items are made.
On this full-day trip, you’ll continue on through the mountains to the village of Setti Fatma, the starting point for your visit to the 7 waterfalls. You’ll walk for around 2 hours in the company of a local guide, and when you reach the last waterfall you’ll enjoy a panoramic view that extends over the entire valley.
You’ll probably be hungry after your walk, and there’s a choice of small restaurants along the river, where you can enjoy delicious regional dishes.
